SYLVANIA, Ohio (LourdesAthletics.com) -- The Lourdes University women's volleyball team ended a 16-match losing streak with a thrilling 3-2 victory over the visiting Racers of the University of Northwestern Ohio on Wednesday afternoon at home inside the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center.
After falling behind two sets to none, the Gray Wolves mounted a remarkable comeback to secure the reverse sweep. With this win, Lourdes notched its second home victory of the season.
Senior Alex Pak led the team with 20 kills on 47 total attempts, recording a .255 hitting percentage. Junior Jolie Sobb posted 19 kills and 16 digs, earning a double-double for a team-leading 23.5 points, while also contributing three service aces. Sophomore Alaina Dujardin recorded 28 assists, and freshman Rania Pavlidi added 19.
Defensively, senior Lindsey Pumford contributed with seven blocks, while sophomore Arleena Willer led the team with 19 digs.

The Gray Wolves will return to home action Friday, Nov. 1, as the opening of Homecoming Weekend. The team plays host to the Warriors of Indiana Tech University at 7 pm inside the rec center.
