SYLVANIA, Ohio (LourdesAthletics.com) -- The Lourdes University women's volleyball team dropped a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference affair at home against the visiting Warriors of Indiana Tech University Friday evening, Nov. 1.
Lourdes lost to Indiana Tech in straight sets with scores of 25-18, 25-18, and 25-21. Indiana Tech's consistent play allowed them to control the match, while Lourdes managed to put up a stronger fight in the third set, although it wasn't enough to secure a win.
Senior Alex Pak led Lourdes offensively with nine kills, while the defense was anchored by Maddie White's 14 digs. Kenady Cox took the setting role, earning a team-leading 12 assists. On the blocking game, Jolie Sobb posted 3.0 total blocks.
UP NEXT
The Gray Wolves will return to action Wednesday, Nov. 6, as the team is scheduled to travel to Defiance College for a 7 pm meeting with the host Yellow Jackets.
