DEFIANCE, Ohio (LourdesAthletics.com)Â -- The Lourdes University volleyball team traveled to Defiance College for a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) matchup against the Yellowjackets. The Gray Wolves battled through a tough contest but ultimately fell in four sets. Defiance claimed the first two sets 25-16 and 25-18, while Lourdes responded with a 25-21 win in the third. However, Defiance took the fourth set 25-23 to secure the overall victory.
Leading the team was senior Alex Pak, who recorded 16 kills and added two block solos for a total of 18.0 points. Kenady Cox contributed a solid performance with 22 assists and 13 digs, earning a double-double. Defensively, Arleena Willer led the way with 19 digs and also posted three service aces, a team high.

The Gray Wolves will return to action for their final match of the season as they host Concordia University on Friday night inside the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center. Six seniors will be honored during the match, which is set for a 7 p.m. start.
