WILBERFORCE, Ohio (LourdesAthletics.com) – The Lourdes University women's basketball team earned a commanding 82-52 victory over host Wilberforce University on Saturday, Nov. 10, for the first road win of the season. 

After a tight first quarter in which Wilberforce led 15-13, Lourdes used a 25-15 second quarter to take control, leading 38-30 at halftime. The Gray Wolves never looked back, extending their lead to 69-43 after a dominant 31-point third quarter. Lourdes closed out the game with a 13-9 fourth quarter, sealing the 82-52 win.

Macie Stringfellow led the way offensively with 15 points, shooting 6-of-14 from the field and perfect from the free-throw line (3-for-3). Stringfellow also grabbed eight rebounds and provided an assist. Emma Pedroza contributed 14 points on 5-of-11 shooting, including 4-of-6 from beyond the arc, while also collecting six rebounds and dishing out three assists.

Nadeen Jemaa added 11 points and three assists, while Oliwia Djya finished with seven points, two assists, and a block.

The Gray Wolves shot 48.6% (18-37) from the field, 35.3% (6-17) from three-point range, and a stellar 86.7% (13-15) from the free-throw line. Lourdes also outrebounded Wilberforce 16-13 and registered 5 steals in the win.
