For the second time this season Will Speight (Bedford, Ohio/Bedford H.S.) has been named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Wrestler of the Week.
 
Speight captured the WHAC title at 184 pounds over the weekend, winning all three of his bouts in bonus point fashion.  The senior opened with a 21-5 tech fall late in the second period against Brady Heckathorn of Cornerstone.
 
In the semifinals, Speight posted a 20-7 major decision against Will Stewart of Marian before defeating Trevor Stuyvenberg of Indiana Tech at the 4:25 mark in the second on a 21-5 tech fall to capture the championship.
 
Speight is now 22-1 on the season overall.  He also earned WHAC Wrestler of the Week honors on Dec. 4 following Indiana Little State.
