Lourdes picked up its sixth straight victory on Tuesday evening, cruising to a 25-20, 25-20, 25-18 victory over Mount Vernon Nazarene inside Ariel Arena in Mount Vernon, Ohio.
 
The 13
th-ranked Gray Wolves hit .341 for the match, putting down 42 kills over the three sets.  
Eduardo Ayala (Curitiba, Brazil/Colegio Dom Bosco) led the way with 17 kills, swinging at a .333 clip while 
Vinicius Lopes (Brusque, Brazil/Colegio Osvaldo Carvalho) added 10 more kills and hit .400.
 
Trailing 8-5 in the opening set, the Gray Wolves scored the next six points to take the lead and closed the stanza on a 5-1 run to take the advantage in the match.  Lourdes trailed 12-9 in set two before a 5-1 run put the Gray Wolves in front and like the first set, the visitors closed on a 5-1 spurt to build a 2-0 lead in the match.  The Gray Wolves completed the sweep, scoring four straight points midway through the third to take the lead for good.
 
Lopes, 
Brayden Moyars (McCordsville, Ind./Cathedral H.S.), and 
Sawyer Schafer (Monroeville, Ohio/Montroeville H.S.) had eight digs each to pace the defense while 
Tomas Olak (Rowville, Australia/Mazenod College) recorded six blocks.
 
Joey Bianco (Cincinnati, Ohio/Elder H.S.) handed out 40 assists for the Gray Wolves.
 
Spencer Stanley led Mount Vernon Nazarene (10-5, 6-4 WHAC) with 11 kills.
 
Lourdes (7-7, 7-1) returns home on Friday evening as the Gray Wolves host Goshen.  First serve is set for 7 p.m. inside the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center.
