Â
Lourdes jumped in front early in game two as Mays doubled home two runs to give the Gray Wolves the lead in the second. Run-scoring ground outs in the fifth and sixth, along with a passed ball in the sixth, allowed Lourdes to open up a 5-0 advantage.
Â
Dupree doubled home a run in the seventh while
Gray Harmer (Delta, B.C./St. Thomas More Collegiate H.S.) drew a bases loaded walk as did Mays to push the lead to 8-0.
Â
Rochester (8-12, 0-2 WHAC) plated their lone run in the bottom of the ninth.
Â
Dupree and Mays both had two hits in game two while the Gray Wolves drew nine walks as a team.
Â
Lourdes (3-9, 2-0) will open the home portion of its schedule on Sunday afternoon as the Gray Wolves entertain Concordia (Mich.). The first pitch in game one of the doubleheader is set for 1 p.m. at Mercy Field.
