SLYVANIA, Ohio (LourdesAthletics.com) -- The Lourdes University women's volleyball team opened its 2024 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference home slate by falling to Lawrence Tech University Wednesday, Sept. 11, in three sets at the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center.

The first set saw Lourdes fall 25-19, before dropping the second set 25-22, and the third 25-22. The Gray Wolves were led in tonight's match by red-shirt senior Alex Pak, who had a team-high 10 kills on a .241 hitting clip. 

Senior Katey Stakolich and junior Kenady Cox each dished out 14 assists as Stakolich added six digs to supplement Cox's seven digs. 

Lourdes' backline was led by 15 digs from junior Emma Coffey. Senior Maddie White tallied 14 digs to go with her five kills. 

Redshirt junior Madison White was efficient with three kills on six swings to go with two block assists. As a team, Lourdes produced 36 kills on 112 swings, good for a .112 hitting percentage.

The Gray Wolves will return to the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center Friday, Sept. 13, to take on Rochester Christian University.
