GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (LourdesAthletics.com) -- The Lourdes University women's volleyball team competed against Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference team leaders, Aquinas College in three straight sets Wednesday night in Grand Rapids, Mich.
The first set saw Lourdes fall in a quick 25-8 decision, before dropping the second set 25-17, and the third 25-13.
The Gray Wolves were led in tonight's match by junior Jolie Sobb, who had a team-high nine digs and three aces, while posting two kills on eight swings for a .250 hitting clip.
Junior Mia Lopez led the kills board, posting five on eight total swings for a .375 team-leading hitting percentage.
Lourdes' backline was led by nine digs from Sobb, while senior Maddie White led in blocks with two block assists.

The Gray Wolves will head back to Grand Rapids, Mich., this Saturday, Sept. 21 for a meeting with Cornerstone University. First serve is set for 2 pm.
