SYLVANIA, Ohio (LourdesAthletics.com) – The Lourdes University Athletics department is excited to announce its new partnership with Hometown Ticketing, an online digital ticketing platform for schools to easily sell and promote tickets sales.
Beginning this fall, Hometown Ticketing will serve as the exclusive ticketing provider for Lourdes University home athletic events which include men's and women's soccer, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's wrestling, men's and women's volleyball, baseball, softball, and men's lacrosse.
This collaboration will allow fans to purchase tickets in advance online through the Lourdes University Ticketing portal, found on the lourdesathletics.com website or via the "Hometown Fan App," available on the App Store and Google Play Store. The new system offers a seamless and convenient way to secure tickets and will support a cashless environment at all athletic home events.
Fans will still be able to purchase tickets on-site on game day, however the university encourages advance purchases to avoid lines and ensure a more efficient entry. The new cashless policy means that card payments will be required for on-site transactions and can only be done on a personal mobile device. Accepted payment methods include credit and debit cards, as well as major mobile payment apps.
Once tickets are purchased, fans can either download and print their tickets at home or store them on their mobile devices for easy scanning at the venue. Ticket bar codes must be scanned prior to entry.
Lourdes University is going cashless to streamline transactions and improve security. This shift will enhance the experience for students, staff, and fans by making campus operations more efficient and modern.
General admission tickets to Lourdes athletic home events will continue to be priced at $5. Please note that a small processing fee will be added to each ticket.
The 2024-25 home season kicks off this Saturday, Sept. 7, with a thrilling doubleheader at Wildcat Stadium. Watch the women's soccer team take the field at 4 pm, followed by the men's team at 7 pm as they take on Holy Cross University. Don't miss out—get your tickets NOW!!
