SYLVANIA, Ohio – Lourdes University volleyball closed out its 2025 home schedule with a four-set victory over Michigan-Dearborn (25-22, 19-25, 25-21, 25-21) on Saturday afternoon inside the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center.
Senior
Rachel Allison led the Gray Wolves with eight kills, four service aces, and two blocks, totaling a team-best 14 points. Freshman
Teliya Cole added seven kills and hit a match-high .700, while chipping in a pair of blocks and an ace.
Senior
Jolie Sobb registered nine kills and 16 digs, and sophomore
Mia Karl contributed eight kills, hitting .312 while adding a block assist and a service ace.
Aleya Baptiste added six kills and four digs, and senior
Emma Coffey anchored the back row with a team-leading 17 digs.
Setter
Zoe Schuele dished out 24 assists with a service ace and six digs, while
Rania Pavlidi added 11 assists and one kill. Lourdes served tough throughout, finishing with 10 aces as a team.
After trading the first two sets, Lourdes surged late in the third behind consecutive kills from Cole and Allison, then sealed the match in the fourth with a 5-1 closing run.
The Gray Wolves improve to 7-18 overall and 3-16 in WHAC play, securing their second home win of the season.
