CORBIN, Ky. – The Gray Wolves' men's wrestling team finished 11^th out of 16 teams in the Battle in the Bluegrass tournament on Friday, hosted by the University of the Cumberlands in Corbin.

Lourdes ended up with 41.5 points, placing ahead of two WHAC schools: Defiance (40.5 points, tied for 12^th place) and Siena Heights' blue team (7 points, 16^th place).

Tyler Cobb
Senior Tyler Cobb led the way for Lourdes, winning the 197-pound bracket with 16 points and victories over Brandon Rau of Siena Heights, Payton Lyons of Pikeville, Jayden Lhaubouet of Life University, and Gio Jackson of Life University.

Cobb had three takedowns, two nearfalls and one escape on his way to victory in the tournament.

Dominico Migliori
Senior Dominico Migliori also finished in the top eight in his weight class, coming in seventh place in the 174-pound bracket. He beat Gailan Wilds of Brewton-Parker (Ga.), Chase Price of Pikeville, and Giulio Traglia of Friends University in the tournament.

Migliori had three takedowns and two nearfalls in his three wins at the tournament.

"This was a fantastic tournament to compete in as we enter the midway point of our season. Coach Louis Piszker did a fantastic job of having our guys ready to compete at a high level today. Ty Cobb looked especially tough in his first competition at the 197-pound weight class. It was very encouraging to watch his wrestling hard work and training translate from the practice room to this tournament competition. He is absolutely going to be a force to be reckoned with down the home stretch of the season. We will now take a couple weeks off to recover, and then we will come back to prepare for the remaining six weeks of our regular season."
