BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (LourdesAthletics.com) – Five members of the Lourdes University women's wrestling team have been named to the 2024-2025 Mid-South Conference Academic All-Conference Team, as announced by the league office. In addition, Allie Phillips was recognized as Lourdes' representative on the MSC Champions of Character Team.
Stefana Jelacic, Megan Litomisky, Aneesa Morgan, Allie Phillips, and Leann Tran all earned Academic All-Conference honors by meeting the MSC's criteria of being a sophomore or above in academic standing with at least a 3.25 cumulative grade point average.
Phillips was also selected to the Champions of Character Team, which recognizes student-athletes who best exemplify the NAIA's core values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.
Jelacic, a three-time All-American, is preparing for a consecutive appearance at the NAIA Women's Wrestling National Championship, where she looks to add to her legacy after making history as Lourdes University's first-ever national champion in 2024.
The Gray Wolves recently concluded competition at the MSC Championships and now turn their focus to the upcoming NAIA National Championships, where both Jelacic and Phillips have qualified to compete. The national tournament is set for March 14-15 at Park City Arena in Wichita, Kan.
