SYLVANIA, Ohio (LourdesAthletics.com) — The 2024-25 spring sports season has officially come to a close for Lourdes University, with baseball, softball, and golf programs all concluding competition this past week. From senior day celebrations to conference championship appearances, Gray Wolves student-athletes put a final stamp on another competitive spring campaign.

Women's Golf wrapped up its season at the WHAC Championships held April 21-23 at Stonehedge Golf Club in Augusta, Michigan. The Gray Wolves placed 10th overall in the 13-team field, finishing with a team total of 722 across three rounds.

Baseball closed out the week with a strong showing on Senior Day, sweeping the University of Michigan-Dearborn at Mercy Field with wins of 6-3 and 13-10. Earlier in the week, the Gray Wolves split a road doubleheader at Siena Heights University (L, 3-1; W, 7-6) before falling in a pair of games to Lawrence Tech University on April 26th (L,8-5; L,12-6).

Softball celebrated senior day on April 24th by splitting a doubleheader against Siena Heights, taking the opener 4-3 before falling in the nightcap 4-2. The team dropped two contests to Madonna on April 25th (L,15-3; L,16-8), but rebounded to sweep Rochester Christian on the road April 26 by scores of 5-1 and 7-3 to close out the year.

Men's Golf took part in the three-day WHAC Championship tournament held April 27-29, also at Stonehedge Golf Club. The final round is currently being held, Monday, April 29.

While competition on the field has concluded, Lourdes Athletics will recognize the achievements of its student-athletes at this year's  GUBI Awards set for Sunday, May 5 at 5 p.m. inside the Franciscan Center Theater.
