AUGUSTA, Mich. (LourdesAthletics.com) --Â The Lourdes University men's golf team wrapped up its 2025 season with a seventh-place finish at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Championships, held over three days at the Stoatin Brae Golf Course in Augusta, Mich.
The Gray Wolves carded rounds of 307-309-316 for a team total of 932, finishing just three strokes behind sixth-place Cleary University. Lourdes finished ahead of six teams in the 13-team field, with Lawrence Tech University capturing the team title at 889, narrowly edging the University of Northwestern Ohio (892) for the championship.
Charlie Robertson led the way for Lourdes, turning in one of the top individual performances of the tournament. Robertson fired rounds of 74-73-79 to post a 54-hole total of 226 (+10), tying for 10th place overall in a field of more than 70 golfers.
Alban Bruyas was steady throughout the event, recording identical rounds of 76 on all three days to finish tied for 16th with a total of 228. Jonathan Huston followed with a 241 total (80-80-81), while Clayton Stull (78-80-84–242) and Justin Altenbach (79-84-80–243) rounded out the scoring lineup for the Gray Wolves.
The WHAC Championships marked the final tournament of the 2024-2025 season for Lourdes, who continued to show progress throughout the spring and held their own against a strong field to close out the year on a competitive note.
