Box Score SYLVANIA, Ohio – The Lourdes Women's Basketball team (21-7, 17-5 in WHAC) beat Siena Heights (13-12, 12-10 in WHAC) 69 to 60 on Senior Day in the Ebeid Rec Center on Saturday afternoon.
The victory clinches the No. 3 seed in the WHAC Tournament for the Gray Wolves and keeps Siena Heights as the No. 5 seed. The WHAC Tournament bracket first round is below.

The Ebeid Rec Center had it's biggest crowd of the season with 234 people in attendance for the last regular season home game in program history. Emotions were high as all 11 seniors walked across the gym to be recognized, as well as the other players and staff on the team.
1st Quarter
Lourdes struggled shooting the basketball to start the game, scoring on a 22.7% clip through the first 10 minutes. Siena Heights' defense was solid throughout the first quarter, holding Lourdes to 10 points.
What kept Lourdes within reach was their own defense. Senior forward
Camryn Ivy got her 29
th block of the season in the first quarter, breaking the all-time Lourdes single season block record. Ivy had a great offensive game as well, scoring 10 points total.
Siena Heights was held to 16 points of their own as Lourdes trailed by six heading into the second frame.
2nd Quarter
The defensive battle continued with Lourdes winning the second quarter 17 to 11. A huge technical foul was assessed on Siena Heights' head coach in the middle of the quarter that shifted momentum to Lourdes and gave them their first lead of the game at 20 to 19.
Senior forward
Tamyah Worthy led the team with four points in the quarter. The local Start High School graduate also had two more steals in the game, bringing her season total to a whopping 83.
The score at the half was knotted up at 27. Nothing could have prepared the crowd for what was about to happen next.
3rd Quarter
Lourdes' offense awoke like a sleeping giant in the third quarter, putting up more points in the third than in the entire first half combined. The Gray Wolves outscored the Saints by a score of 34 to 9 in the quarter, taking a 61 to 36 lead into the fourth.
Senior guard
Emma Pedroza could not miss, scoring 12 points on two triples and three mid-range jumpers. Pedroza had just four points in the first half but ended the game leading the team with 24.
Junior guard
Kaylona Butler also had a great quarter, scoring 10 of her 14 total points in the frame.
4th Quarter
Siena Heights flipped the script in the fourth, outscoring Lourdes 24 to 8. The deficit didn't matter though because of the cushion earned from the third quarter blowout. The game was well in hand with three minutes left as Lourdes cruised to a nine point victory.

Lourdes will rematch Northwestern Ohio in the first round of the WHAC Tournament on Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 5:30 pm in the Ebeid Rec Center.
