SYLVANIA, Ohio – The Lourdes men's basketball team had eight players selected to win WHAC postseason awards, the conference announced Thursday morning.
In addition to the players, head coach Jake Dupree won the WHAC Champions of Character Coach of the Year Award.
Sophomore guard
Derek Fairley was selected to the All-WHAC 1
st-Team for his consistently impressive offensive skills. Fairley is currently second in the conference in scoring with 23.0 points per game. He has also consistently been in the top 10-15 highest scorers in the entire NAIA this season and is a Bevo Francis Award nominee.
Senior guard/forward
Stephen Coleman Jr. was selected to the All-WHAC 2
nd-Team. Coleman Jr.'s veteran presence and leadership have been extremely helpful this season to one of the youngest teams in the country. Coleman Jr. averages the second-most points on the team and is the team's leading rebounder.
Freshman trio
J'Siah Jefferson,
Karter Koester and
Charlie Wood all made the WHAC All-Freshman team. The group has impacted the Gray Wolves on the scoring and defensive fronts this season. Jefferson is second on the team in rebounding, Koester is the team's top three-point shooter, and Wood recently broke the program record for blocks in a single-season with 31.

Dasan Doucet and junior forward
Ben Morrison each made the WHAC All-Academic Team. Senior guard/forward
Andre Wilburn was selected as the team's recipient for the Champions of Character team.
