2018 CC: Raced in five events for the Gray Wolves as a junior … posted a season’s best time of 28:37.4 over 8K at the Jenna Strong Fall Classic on Sept. 29 … had a 6K best of 22:00.84 at the Back to the Nature Preserve Invitational (Aug. 31) … selected to the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Champions of Character Team.
 
2017 CC: Competed in all six races during sophomore season … named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Runner of the Week on Sept. 5 … posted a 6K best time of 21:52.7 at the Back to the Nature Preserve Invitational (Sept. 1) … had a season’s 8K best of 29:55.2 at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Championships on Nov. 4.
 
2017 TF: Did not compete indoors … ran a season’s best time of 4:35.12 in the 1500m at the Cumberlands Invitational on April 8 … posted a time of 11:20.99 in the 3000m steeplechase at the Polar Bear Invitational (April 22) … named to the Dean’s List fall semester.
 
2016 CC: Raced in all seven meets as a rookie … had a season’s best time of 27:56.8 over 8K at the Jenna Strong Classic on Oct. 14 … had a 5K time of 17:13.6 at the Heidelberg Cross Country Invitational to finish 10^th overall … posted a 6K best of 20:49.21 at the Back to the Nature Preserve Invitational (Sept. 2) … named to the Dean’s List fall semester.
 
Prep: A two-year letterwinner for the Valley Cubs in both cross country and track and field … finished ninth in the state as a senior in cross country … also qualified for the state championships as a junior … also lettered in wrestling and football.
 
Personal: Lane is the son of Shane and Angela Trapp … major is adolescent to young adult education.
