The Lourdes University Gray Wolves Women's Basketball team fell short on the road on Saturday Afternoon to WHAC opponent Cornerstone University 82-59.

The Gray Wolves started out slow and fell behind early 23-4 at one point. Tough shooting in the first left only three players in the scorebook in the first with Precious Hands leading the Gray Wolves in scoring at the break with 10 points while Lauren Tilden and Tarynn Hampton chipped in with six a piece.

The Gray Wolves connected on only 7 of 32 shooting for a 22 percent from the field while giving up 50 percent to Cornerstone.

The Gray Wolves battled hard coming out of the to cut the 14 point halftime lead to nine but the Golden Eagles would play tough and keep the lead for a final victory of 23 points.

Precious Hands would lead the team in scoring with 21 points, Lauren Tilden with 16 and Tarynn Hampton with 12.

The Gray Wolves fall to 4-9 overall and 0-5 in WHAC play. The next game for the Gray Wolves is Saturday December 17^th at IU Southbend at 12pm.
