The Lourdes Men's Basketball team was back on the court on Friday night as they traveled to Concordia University to take on the Cardinals. The Gray Wolves looked to stop a two game skid but fall short 78-66.
 
The first half went the way of the Cardinals as they led at the break 38-29. The Gray Wolves shot 41 percent from the floor but struggled at just 25 percent from beyond the arc. The Gray Wolves finished just 2 of 8 behind the three point line.

John Willhite finished with 11 points leading the way for the Gray Wolves and John Washington chipped in with 10 points. Andrew Patrick led the Cardinals in scoring with 17 points.

The Gray Wolves battled tough in the second half but were matched nearly shot for shot the entire way and would give up 40 points while scoring 37.

The Gray Wolves finished with three players in double figures with John Willhite 20 points, Elvin Butler with 15 and John Washington with 12.

The Gray Wolves fall to 5-8 overal and 1-4 in WHAC play.
The Gray Wolves return to action on Monday at Indiana Dabney University in Hammond, IN. at 7pm.
