The Lourdes Gray Wolves Men's Basketball team came up short on Tuesday at the Saint Xavier Midwest Tournament in Chicago, IL against Columbia College of Missouri 75-65.
The Gray Wolves would play hard throughout the game but just not have enough fire power in the end as they came up short by ten points.
Lourdes would be led in scoring on the day by
Corey Harvey and his 26 points. It is now back to back games of 20 plus points for Harvey. Two other players for the Gray Wolves would also be in double figure scoring with
John Willhite with 17 and
John Washington with 11.
“We played a great team and we played hard. They were just a big team and turnovers cost us” said Head Coach
Andre Smith after the game.
The Gray Wolves fall to 6-9 overall. The Lourdes team will be back in action on December 30
th on the road to play at 3pm against Mt. Vernon Nazarene in Mount Vernon, OH.
