Lourdes University men's golf team hit the road for their first match up of the as they traveled to Richmond, IN. to play against the Red Wolves of Indiana University-East at the Highland Lake Golf Club on Friday. Lourdes would fall in the match up to both squads from the Red Wolves as they would finish with an incomplete score. For Lourdes all the men would play as individual scores and not as a team score.
The Red Wolves posted a team score of 300 with Luke Warren leading the way a 2 under par 70 which was good enough for top individual honors. Lourdes Gray Wolves own
Brandon Henry and Chad Nock would finish tied for fourth place shooting a 78 on the day.
For the Gray Wolves the only other scorer would be
Josh Perry with an 87.
“With a gorgeous day outside and a course set up for good numbers the players didn't disappoint” said Head Coach Scott Simon.
Lourdes will hit the road again shortly as they will compete in a two day tournament on September 2-3 in Battle Creek, MI. at the Bedford Valley Country Club in the Olivet College 15th Annual Lou Collins Memorial Classic.
