For the Lourdes University Men's Golf team it has been a rough start to the season. Health has been a major concern as the season has gotten underway with injuries to two players. But for two freshmen in
Josh Perry and
Gary McGinnis things are looking up.
The Lourdes Men's Golf team was on the road taking part in one of the bigger tournaments of the year in the 15
th Annual Jon P. Spiess Memorial Collegiate Golf Tournament in Wauseon, OH. Four players made the trip for the team but only two were able to finish after an injury to Freshman
Jim Dunnett during the second hole forced him to retire for the match.
Brandon Henry is still recovering from an injury that forced him out of a match earlier this season leaving the two freshmen to battle on.
It was a career best day for freshman
Gary McGinnis as he shot a 79 on a very tough course to lead the way for the Gray Wolves.
Freshman
Josh Perry would finish the day with a 90.
