Neither wind nor rain would hold up the WHAC Jamboree 3 Round 1 play on Friday for the women of the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference competing at the Sylvania Country Club in Sylvania, OH. What started out as a miserable type day for golf cleared up at times on the luscious green fairways. Cold was the word of the day as golfers teed off with 53 degree temperatures and a slight mist in the air.
 
For the ladies of the Lourdes golf team there was a sense of home advantage as Freshman Alexis Stock shot her way into a tie for second place on the day when all was said and done with a score of 88 on the par 73 course that played at 6078 yards.  Sophomore Brooke Darah who is usually the top finisher this season for the squad had to settle for an opening round score of 90 which places her in a tie for eighth overall. Freshman Kallie Breyfogle is currently tied for 17^th with a score of 95 and fellow freshman Lindsay Lehman is tied for 21^st with a score of 96. Freshman Roberta Craider finished with a 106 and is tied for 34^th while Sophomore Jen Ballard rounds out the Lourdes scoring with a 111 and is in 42^nd place.
 
Day 2 of the WHAC Jamboree 3 wasn't as nice for the Lourdes women's golf team as they shot a team combined score of 370 giving them a combined two day total of 739. That was good enough for a fifth place finish overall and just one stroke out of fourth place where they were after the first round.

Brooke Darah finshed day two as the top scorer for the Gray Wolves as she finished in 9th place overall after shooting an 89 for a 179 total. Kallie Breyfogle and Lindsay Lehman finished tied for 20th, Roberta Craider took 30th, Jen Ballard finished tied for 41st place. Alexis Stock had a dnf after not being able to play on Saturday.
