SYLVANIA, Ohio – The Lourdes University women's golf team closed its fall season in style, earning the team championship at the Lourdes Fall Finale on Monday at Sylvania Country Club. The Gray Wolves edged Ohio Northern by two strokes, posting a 350 team total (+62) to secure the win on their home course.

Junior Claire Recker (Findlay, Ohio/Van Buren) led the way for Lourdes, tying for third place overall with a round of 82 (+10). Seniors Shauna White (Somerset, Ohio/Sheridan) and Kenzie Richardson (Toledo, Ohio/Whitmer) both tied for 12th, each carding 89 (+17). Junior Allison Knicely (Toledo, Ohio/Whitmer) added a 90 (+18) to tie for 20th, while freshman Addison Bozynski (Huron, Mich./Huron) completed the scoring with a 97 (+25), tying for 35th.

The Gray Wolves topped a field of 11 teams, which included conference rivals Madonna, Cleary, Siena Heights, and Indiana Tech. Lourdes also recorded seven birdies, tied for the most in the tournament field.
