The Lourdes University Women's Basketball team hosted the UM Dearborn Wolves on Saturday afternoon at the Sylvania Tam-O-Shanter. UM Dearborn would come away with the victory 83-60 victory.

The first half was nip and tuck as both teams would battle back and forth for the first 10 min with the game tied at 18. The Wolves of UM Dearborn would start to take control late in the half building a 10 point lead with 3:30 remaining in the half at 33-23.  The lead would grow for UM Dearborn in the last few minutes as they would take a 43-27 halftime advantage.

The struggling factor for the Gray Wolves would be ball possession as they would commit 15 turnovers compared to 10 for the Wolves. The Gray Wolves would shoot 32% from the field while the Wolves shot 44%.

Tarynn Hampton would lead the Gray Wolves with nine points followed by Emily Orsini with eight. For the Wolves they were led by #55 Jalissa Williams with 10 points and nine points for Jaclyn Hood.
The second half would not start pretty for either team as the Wolves built up a lead of 51-32 before a timeout. The two teams would combine for 19 turnovers in the first 5:30 of the second half.

The Gray Wolves and Wolves would struggle all second half as the two teams combined for a total of 94 combined turnovers. The Gray Wolves would score 33 second half points on 9 of 27 shooting from the floor while the Wolves would score 40 points on 14 of 29 shooting for a 46%.

The Gray Wolves leading scorer would be Tarynn Hampton with 26 points. The Wolves leading scorer would be Jalissa Williams with 15 points.
