Gray Wolves Come Up Short At MSOE

On Saturday evening the Lourdes University men's volleyball team was on the road at the Kern Center in Milwaukee, WI. The Gray Wolves took on NCAA Div. III opponent Milwaukee School of Engineering in a non-conference matchup. The Gray Wolves would fall in four very competitive sets to the Raiders.

The Gray Wolves stormed out of the gate taking the first set 25-21 behind strong net play. The next three sets would belong to the Raiders though 21-25, 24-26 21-25.

The Gray Wolves got a great performance out of Jr. outside hitter Nick DiMarco who crashed the net for 28 kills on the evening.

This match was a back and forth affair the whole way with the score tied 42 different times and 14 lead changes. The fourth set in particular was fascinating as there was 10 times the score was tied throughout the set.

The Gray Wolves fall to 3-5 overall with the loss and will look to rebound against MAMVIC opponent Siena Heights in Adrian, MI. on Valentine's Day at 7pm.
