Gray Wolves Lose The Battle Of The Wolves

Gray Wolves Lose A Tough One
The Lourdes University men's basketball team came up empty in their bid for a win against the Wolves of UMD on Wednesday night in Dearborn, MI. 57-55.
 
The Gray Wolves played hard and tough on both ends of the court but were just not able to finish shots off in the second half finishing the half with just 6 made baskets on 16 attempts for a shooting percentage of 38%.
 
Lourdes would take to the halftime break sitting in good position with a 12 point lead at 34-22. But the Wolves would shoot 50% in the second half on 12 of 24 shooting including 4 three point baskets to win the half and the game.
 
Lourdes was led in scoring by center Marcus Outlaw with 12 points, 5 rebounds and a blocked shot. Senior John Willhite would chip in with 10 points and 5 rebounds as well.
 
With the loss the Gray Wolves fall to .500 overall at 14-14 and 8-9 in WHAC play.
 
Next up for the Gray Wolves is their regular season finale on Saturday at UNOH at 3pm. The Gray Wolves are still in line for a WHAC tournament bid. The games on Saturday will determine where the Gray Wolves travel next week for their postseason run.
