The Lourdes University women's basketball team was on the road Wednesday night in Dearborn, MI. taking on the Wolverines of UMD. The Gray Wolves came up short in their bid for their first WHAC victory falling 76-60.
The Gray Wolves played hard but were just out gunned as the Wolves would jump out early and never look back scoring 45 points in the first half on 16 of 35 shooting from the floor for an impressive 45%. The Gray Wolves would shoot an impressive first half percentage as well connecting on 12 of 23 shots from the floor for a 52%.
Lourdes would keep it closer matching up well in the second half but would come up empty in the end 76-60. The Wolves of UMD would connect on 12 of 16 free throws to put the game out of reach.

Tarynn Hampton on the night as she collected 28 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists.
Lauren Tilden would also play big for the Gray Wolves as she would collect 18 points while making 6 3pt. baskets.
Next up for the Gray Wolves is another road trip to end the season at UNOH on Saturday at 1pm.
