The Lourdes University men's basketball team crushed fellow WHAC opponent UNOH on Saturday afternoon 69-51. The win was big for the Gray Wolves as they get set to take part in WHAC tournament starting on Wednesday night. The Gray Wolves came into the game in seventh place in the conference and were looking to possibly move up to number six after the win.
The Gray Wolves and Racers played close in the first half with the Gray Wolves leading 35-28 at the break.
Senior
John Willhite stepped up his game in the regular season finale leading the team in scoring with 21 points while also completing the double-double with 12 rebounds.
Remy Fleurima added 12 points and
Marcus Outlaw with 10 points.
The Gray Wolves shot well from the field in the game converting 29 of 57 shots for 51%. The Gray Wolves finished 4 of 14 from three pointers and 7 of 9 from the free throw line. The Gray Wolves out rebounded the Racers 42 to 25.
