Â

Â
A
Katie Pearcy (Euclid, Ohio/Euclid H.S.) triple with 2:38 to play before half to put the Gray Wolves back on top 24-23, but that would be Lourdes last lead of the game. Lawrence Tech scored the half's final seven points, the last basket coming as the horn sounded, and took a 30-24 lead into the break.
Â
The Blue Devils extended the lead to 10 out of halftime and maintained a five to eight point advantage for the first 10 minutes of the final stanza. Lourdes was able to close within three, 45-42, at the 8:32 mark after free throws by Blackman and Pearcy but could not get any closer. A 10-3 run by Lawrence Tech pushed the lead back to 11, and despites Lourdes cutting into the deficit again, could not pull any closer than five the rest of the way.

Â

Â
