Final Results
Lourdes University's women's golf team returned to the links for the first time this spring on Saturday afternoon and the Gray Wolves posted a fourth place finish at the Adrian Spring Invitational held at Lenawee Country Club in Adrian, Mich.
The Gray Wolves posted a team score of 378, just four strokes behind third place Calvin and eight shots in back of runner-up Hope. Saint Francis (Ill.) won the team title with a total of 354.
Brooke Darah (Sylvania, Ohio/Northview H.S.) led Lourdes with an 88 over the 5,414-yard, par-71 layout. She finished in a tie for fifth place overall.
Heather Steiner (Tiffin, Ohio/Calvert H.S.) added a 94 while
Kallie Breyfogle (Sylvania, Ohio/Southview H.S.) shot 96 on the afternoon.
Haley Steiner (Tiffin, Ohio/Calvert H.S.) fired a 100, her collegiate best, to round out the scoring for the Gray Wolves, while
Lindsay Lehman (Sylvania, Ohio/Otsego H.S.) carded a 103.
Saint Francis' Maricar Nones won the individual title with an 84, defeating Calvin's Carlia Canto in a scorecard playoff.
Lourdes will return to the course on Friday afternoon as the Gray Wolves compete at the Siena Heights Invitational. Action will begin at noon at Hantz Golf Club in Tecumseh, Mich.
