Lawrence Tech made 10-of-23 (48.9%) three-pointers while holding Lourdes scoreless from beyond the arc on Wednesday evening as the Blue Devils topped the Gray Wolves 59-50 at Don Ridler Fieldhouse in Southfield, Mich.
 
Jerah'me Williams (Youngstown, Ohio/Campbell H.S.) was the only Gray Wolf to score in double figures on the night, tallying 10 points off of the bench.  Jerome Talton (East Cleveland, Ohio/Shaw H.S.) and Zach Steinmetz (Toledo, Ohio/Saint John's H.S.) added nine points each for Lourdes.  Despite committing just seven turnovers on the evening, the Gray Wolves shot just 40% from the floor.
 
Lourdes held a 38-14 scored advantage in the paint, but made just 10-of-16 (62.5%) free throws and forced the Blue Devils into just nine turnovers.
 
The Gray Wolves took an early 14-7 lead 12 minutes into the game before 10 unanswered points by Lawrence Tech gave the hosts the lead for good.  The 10 points were the start of a 19-2 run over seven minutes that allowed the Blue Devils to build a 26-16 lead with under two minutes remaining  in the opening half.  Lourdes then trailed 29-19 at the break.
 
A 10-3 run by Lourdes in the first 3:30 of the second half allowed the Gray Wolves to claw back to within three, 32-29.  However, an 11-3 run by Lawrence Tech pushed the lead back to double figures with 6:31 to play and Lourdes would not be able to get any closer than six the rest of the way.
 
Brad Watterworth led Lawrence Tech (4-15, 2-9 WHAC) with 14 points while Thomas Hoff added 12 more points. 
 
Lourdes (11-8, 6-5) will return home to Tam-o-Shanter on Saturday afternoon, hosting 10^th-ranked Davenport.  Tip-off is set for 3 p.m.
