Scouting Marygrove: The Mustangs have dropped 11 straight contests following a pair of losses last weekend at the Davenport Holiday Classic.  Marygrove fell to Calvin 111-62 and Holy Cross (Ind.) 76-46.  Ciara Moore leads the Mustangs averaging 11.1 points per game and is the only player on the team to average in double figures.  As a team Marygrove is shooting just 30.2% from the floor and has been outscored by 25.7 points per contest on the year.

Blackman Earns All-Tournament Team Honors: Tiffani Blackman was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Saint Xavier Christmas Classic after averaging 14.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in the two games for the Gray Wolves.  The senior tallied 13 points and eight boards, including five on the offensive end, against Robert Morris (Ill.) while adding three assists.  Blackman led Lourdes with 16 points and nine boards, making 5-of-9 from the floor against eighth-ranked Saint Xavier.

Blocking Shots: Tiffany Scott continues to average just over one blocked shot per game after rejecting 15 shots in her 14 games.  She had a pair of rejections against Robert Morris (Ill.) and has had at least two blocks in five games this year, including a season-high four swats against Lawrence Tech.

Tilden Catches Fire Versus Robert Morris: Lauren Tilden was dialed in from long range last Saturday against Robert Morris (Ill.), making 5-of-7 three-point shots in the contest.  She ranks 25th in the country making 2.7 triples per game and has made four or more threes five times in the season's first 14 games.

Lourdes Tabbed 10th in Preseason Poll: The Gray Wolves were selected to finish in 10th place in the WHAC this season in the preseason poll conducted of the league's head coaches.  Lourdes was picked just ahead of Michigan-Dearborn, and just behind Lawrence Tech.  Davenport was tabbed as the conference's preseason favorite for 2013-2014 after winning the conference title seven straight seasons.
