Series Notes: Aquinas is 6-0 all-time against Lourdes after sweeping both meetings last season.  The Saints were 60-43 victors in Grand Rapids, Mich. on Dec. 4, 2013 before posting a 74-61 win over the Gray Wolves at Owens CC on Feb. 22, 2014 to wrap up the regular season.  This is Aquinas' second trip ever to Tam-o-Shanter, and first since Nov. 30, 2011.  The two schools met at the Stroh Center in Bowling Green in 2012-2013 and at Owens CC last year.  Indiana Tech is 5-1 all-time against Lourdes after winning both of last year's meetings.  The Warriors downed the ray Wolves 88-69 in Fort Wayne and 68-54 at Tam-o-Shanter.  Indiana Tech holds a 2-1 edge in Fort Wayne with the Gray Wolves lone win coming 72-62 on Feb. 2, 2013.

Wrapping Up Last Week: The Gray Wolves snapped a three-game losing streak with a 68-56 victory at Marygrove on Tuesday night.  Lauren Tilden made eight three-pointers on her way to a career-high 33 points while Jessica Durr and Katie Pearcy each chipped in seven points.  Durr also pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds.  Lourdes held the Mustangs to just 23.7% shooting in the second half of the victory.

Scouting Aquinas: The Saints are looking to bounce back from an 87-75 loss at Madonna on Tuesday and enter play Wednesday at the .500 mark in the WHAC.  Allison Heberlein leads three Aquinas players averaging in double figures with 14.9 points per game.  Katie Theut adds 11.2 points per night while Chelsea Matley is scoring 10.9 points per contest.  Miara Okie is pulling down a team-leading 7.3 rebounds per game and ranks 21st in the country tallying 1.8 blocks per contest.

Scouting Indiana Tech: The Warriors enter the week following a split at the William Jessup Tournament last weekend.  Indiana Tech defeated the hosts in the opening round before falling to San Diego Christian on Saturday.  The Warriors  head to Marygrove on Wednesday before hosting Lourdes on Saturday.  Baylee Rinehart leads Indiana Tech averaging 15.1 points per game while Taylor Seiss adds 14.7 points per night.  Linsey Masnari tallies 12.9 points per game while Shallante Clements leads the team with 8.5 boards per contest.  Rayana Villalpando ranks third in the nation handing out 6.0 assists per game.

Tilden Named WHAC Player of the Week: Lauren Tilden was named the first Lourdes women's basketball player ever to earn WHAC Player of the Week honors after her 33-point, seven-rebound performance against Marygrove.  The fifth-year senior made eight three-pointers on her way to her career-high scoring output.  She ranks seventh nationally tallying 3.3 triples per contest this year.

Best Start Ever: Lourdes 5-4 mark to the 2014-2015 season matches the program's best nine-game start in history.  Prior to this season the earliest the Gray Wolves had ever won their fifth game in a year was Jan. 5, 2013, the 17th game of the 2012-2013 season.  Lourdes has already matched the 2011-2012 season's entire victory total and is just one win away from equalling last year's total number of triumphs.

Surpassing 1,000: Lauren Tilden became just the second Gray Wolf in program history (Tarynn Hampton) to reach the 1,000 point plateau for her career with her first three-pointer on Tuesday at Marygrove.  She enters the week with 1,030 career points.

Durr Crashes the Boards: Jessica Durr tallied her second double figure rebounding game of the season against Marygrove, grabbing 10 boards.

Shooting is Key...: Lourdes is 5-0 this season when shooting a better percentage from the floor than the opposition, but 0-4 when losing the shooting battle.  Lourdes is shooting 48.6% from the field in the wins while holding the opposition to 38.4% shooting.  In the losses, however, the Gray Wolves are connecting at just a 31.3% clip from the floor while opponents are making 50.2% of their overall shots.

... as is Rebounding: Lourdes is also 5-0 when outrebounding the opposition this season but 0-4 when they haven't crashed the boards as well.  In the wins Lourdes is outboarding its foes by 12.4 per night, but in the losses the Gray Wolves are being outrebounded by 10.5 caroms per night.

Captains Named: Lourdes has two captains on the roster this season.  Serving in the leadership role for 2014-2015 are Lauren Tilden and Emily Orsini.  Tilden is a two-time team captain, having also served in that role in 2012-2013, while Orsini is in her first season as a team captain.

This and That: As a team Lourdes ranks 24th nationally averaging 15.6 offensive rebounds per game ... the Gray Wolves are 33rd in the country holding opponents to just 26.9% shooting from three-point range.
