Upcoming in Gray Wolves Basketball: Lourdes looks to build momentum from Saturday's victory heading into the final two weeks off the season as the Gray Wolves will play three of their final four games at home.  Lourdes hosts Northwestern Ohio on Wednesday evening before taking to the road for the final time this year on Saturday, traveling to Grand Rapids, Mich. to face Cornerstone.

Series Notes: Northwestern Ohio holds a 5-0 advantage all-time in the series against Lourdes dating back to Jan. 18, 2012 after winning this year's first meeting in Lima, Ohio.  The Racers are 2-0 against the Gray Wolves at Tam-o-Shanter.  Cornerstone holds a 5-0 edge in the series with Lourdes dating back to Dec. 10, 2011.  The Golden Eagles won the first meeting this season at Tam-o-Shanter.  Cornerstone holds a 2-0 series advantage in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Earlier This Season: Lourdes had four players score in double figures on Jan. 8 in Lima, Ohio, but it was Northwestern Ohio that came away with the 73-64 victory.  Tarynn Hampton led the Gray Wolves with 16 points and nine rebounds while Madison Coldren posted 19 points and 13 boards for the Racers.  On Jan. 11 Cornerstone outscored Lourdes 32-12 in the paint and defeated the Gray Wolves 59-49 at Tam-o-Shanter.  Tiffany Scott led four Lourdes players in double figures with 12 points while Katelyn Cousins paced the Golden Eagles with 19 points.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes shot just 22.9% from the floor and scored eight first half points on Wednesday in a 64-31 loss at #19 Siena Heights.  Tiffani Blackman led the Gray Wolves with eight points.  Lourdes bounced back Saturday, matching a school record for points in a game with a 91-73 victory at Marygrove.  Lauren Tilden poured in 31 points for the Gray Wolves, making 8-of-13 from three point range while Tarynn Hampton added 17 points.

Scouting Northwestern Ohio: The Racers have dropped two straight games following a 75-62 setback at home against Indiana Tech on Saturday.  Sammi Dervisevic leads Northwestern Ohio in scoring, averaging 12.2 points per contest, while Lauren Hopfner adds 11.9 points per night.  Hopfner also ranks 19th nationally averaging 4.81 assists per game.  As a team the Racers are outrebounding opponents by 10.1 boards per contest, a mark that ranks sixth in NAIA Division II.

Scouting Cornerstone: The Golden Eagles enter the week following a 61-46 win at home against Concordia (Mich.) on Saturday.  Cornerstone heads to Indiana Tech on Wednesday before hosting Lourdes on Saturday to begin a three-game season-ending homestand.  Katelyn Cousins leads the Golden Eagles offensively, averaging 18.8 points per game, a mark that ranks 16th nationally.  Jill Hendrickson adds 14.5 points per night along with 10.7 rebounds per game, the seventh best mark in the country.

Schedule Change: Lourdes regular season finale against Aquinas has been moved to Owens Community College in Perrysburg due to a scheduling conflict at Tam-o-Shanter.  The game will also tip off one hour earlier than originally schedule, with the ball now being tossed into the air at noon.

Tilden Posts Big Numbers: Lauren Tilden scored a career-high 31 points for the Gray Wolves on Saturday afternoon in the victory.  The junior made 8-of-13 shots from three-point range, part of an overall 10-for-16 shooting day.  She also grabbed six rebounds, had four assists, a steal, and a blocked shot.

Lighting Up the Scoreboard: Lourdes matched the school record for points in a game with the 91-point effort in the victory over Marygrove on Saturday.  The Gray Wolves first put up 91 points in a win over Pittsburgh-Titusville on Nov. 18, 2011, then matched the feat last season on Feb. 9 with a triumph at home against Marygrove.

Quintet in Double Figures: Lourdes had a variety of players get involved with the scoring on Saturday afternoon, as five individuals tallied double figures.  In addition to Lauren Tilden's 31 points, Tarynn Hampton added 17 and Tiffany Scott chipped in 13 points.  Tiffani Blackman tallied 12 points on the day while Jessica Durr came off of the bench to score 10 more.

Stark Contrast: The offensive explosion in the Marygrove game was the exact opposite of Wednesday at Siena Heights.  The Gray Wolves tallied just 31 points in the loss, the fewest in school history.  In addition, not one player found double figures in the scoring column.

Crashing the Glass: Tarynn Hampton ranks second in all of NAIA Division II averaging 4.6 offensive rebounds per game.  Hampton ranks 13th overall in total rebounding, averaging 10.1 rebounds per night.  As a team Lourdes ranks 11th in the nation pulling down 15.7 offensive rebounds per contest, and its +3.2 rebounding margin is 38th best in the country.

Captains Named: Lourdes has two captains on the roster this season.  Serving in the leadership role for 2013-2014 are Tiffani Blackman and Tiffany Scott.  Blackman is a two-time team captain while Scott is in her first season as a team captain.

This and That: Lourdes has just two players shooting about 68% from the free throw line ... Lauren Tilden is averaging a team-high 36.7 minutes per game ... a win against Northwestern Ohio would give the Gray Wolves back-to-back victories for the third time in program history.
