Lourdes University head coach Gil Guerrero has announced that Spencer Stubbs has signed a letter of intent to play golf for the Gray Wolves' beginning in the 2016-2017 season.
 
A native of Lima, Ohio, Stubbs was a three-time First Team All-Western Buckeye League selection for Bath High School.  He also garnered first Team All-District accolades in 2015 following his senior season.
 
Spencer is a very hard working young man both in the classroom and with his golf," Guerrero stated.  "He comes from a great program at Lima Bath High School that has a long tradition of developing excellent golfers.  Spencer will be an excellent addition to our golf program and to Lourdes University."
 
Stubbs participated in the Ohio High School Athletic Association state championship during his final three seasons with the Wildcats.  As a senior, Stubbs finished 16^th in Division II, shooting a final round 74. 
 
A multisport athlete, Stubbs also has lettered in tennis during his prep career.
