Upcoming in Gray Wolves Basketball: The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference slate opens this week for Lourdes University as the Gray Wolves look to rebound from their first loss of the season.  Lourdes entertains Aquinas on Wednesday evening before taking to the road on Saturday to travel to Michigan-Dearborn.

On the Air: Wednesday's game against Aquinas will be broadcast tape-delayed on BCSN and BCSN2 as part of Buckeye Broadband.  The game will air on BCSN on Friday morning at 3:30 a.m. while BCSN2 will carry the contest on Thursday at 1 a.m. and 11 p.m.

Head Coach Summer Quesenberry: In her second season on the Lourdes bench Summer Quesenberry has a 9-24 (.273) record with the Gray Wolves.  Overall as a women's collegiate head coach, Quesenberry has a 62-92 (.403) record in her fifth season.  She is the third head coach in Lourdes program's history.

Series Notes: Aquinas holds a 12-0 series advantage against Lourdes dating back to Nov. 30, 2011.  The Saints swept last season's meetings, winning 82-50 in Grand Rapids, Mich. and 84-58 at the Ebeid Rec Center.  Aquinas is 6-0 against the Gray Wolves in Lourdes' home contests, including the lone previous visit to the Ebeid Rec Center last year.  Michigan-Dearborn and Lourdes have split 12 previous meetings 6-6 dating back to Jan. 14, 2012.  Last year the Gray Wolves won 81-71 in the Ebeid Rec Center while the Wolverines posted a 70-56 win in Dearborn, Mich.  Michigan-Dearborn holds a 4-2 series edge in games played in Dearborn.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Tatyana Reynolds and Mirandia Green led five Gray Wolves in double figures on Tuesday evening, scoring 17 points each, as Lourdes defeated Wright State-Lake 86-53.  Green had a double-double with 10 rebounds in the win as well.  On Friday night Midway went on a 29-1 second half run on the way to an 85-59 win over the Gray Wolves.  Green led Lourdes with 13 points in the loss.

Scouting Aquinas: The Saints snapped a two-game losing skid on Saturday with a 78-58 victory over Spring Arbor at home.  Momo Neal leads Aquinas averaging 11.2 points per game while Michaela Faber has pulled down a team-high 7.0 rebounds per night.

Scouting Michigan-Dearborn: The Wolverines enter the week having won three straight games following a 69-51 victory at Great Lakes Christian on Saturday.  Michigan-Dearborn heads to Rochester (Mich.) on Wednesday before hosting Lourdes.  Sade Lemons leads Michigan-Dearborn averaging 13.2 points per game while grabbing a team-high 48 rebounds per night.  Jeorgia Jones adds 11.3 points per night for the Wolverines.

WHAC Openers: Lourdes is 1-5 all-time in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference openers, and has dropped four straight contests.  Last year the Gray Wolves suffered an 82-50 setback on the road at Aquinas.  The lone Lourdes conference-opening win came on Nov. 17, 2012, a 76-63 triumph at Lawrence Tech.

Schedule Updates: Lourdes' two scheduled games against Akron Wayne, one on the road on Dec. 19 and another at home on Dec. 30 have both been cancelled.  Unfortunately for the Gray Wolves, the Warriors have cancelled their entire season.  At this time Lourdes has not added any different games.

Green Registers First Collegiate Double-Double: Mirandia Green tallied her first collegiate double-double on Tuesday at Wright State-Lake, scoring 17 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.  She also led the Gray Wolves in scoring at Midway, scoring 13 points on the road.

Reynolds Makes Immediate Impact: After missing the season opener, Tatyana Reynolds has made an instant impact in the Gray Wolf lineup.  The lone senior on the roster shared team high honors scoring 17 points in her debut at Wright State-Lake before adding 10 more at Midway.  Reynolds leads the team averaging 13.5 points per game on the year.

From Long Range: Sydney Miller has shot the ball exceptionally well to begin the season.  The junior is connecting at a 41.2% clip from beyond the mark, making seven three-pointers in her first three games.  Overall, Miller is shooting at a 50% clip from the floor.

A Solid Ratio: Christiana Jefferson has handed out a team-leading 14 assists thus far this season, committing just two turnovers.  She had a team-high eight helpers on the road at Midway on Friday.

Lourdes Tabbed 10th in Preseason Poll: The Gray Wolves were selected to finish in 10th place in the WHAC this season in the preseason poll conducted of the league's head coaches.  Lourdes was picked just ahead of Michigan-Dearborn, and just behind Northwestern Ohio.  Indiana Tech was chosen as the preseason favorite after last year's champion, Davenport, left the NAIA for NCAA Division II.

This and That: Lourdes has grabbed 20 or more offensive rebounds in two of its three games this season ... the Gray Wolves are looking for a 3-1 start against Aquinas, which would match the best in school history (2014-2015).
