Upcoming in Gray Wolves Basketball: Lourdes begins a three-game road trip this week, looking to snap a four-game losing skid and pick up the team's first victory in 2018. The Gray Wolves travel to Aquinas on Wednesday evening for a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference contest before stepping outside league play for the final time this season on Saturday, traveling to Wilberforce.
Head Coach Summer Quesenberry: In her second season on the Lourdes bench
Summer Quesenberry has a 14-34 (.292) record with the Gray Wolves. Overall as a women's collegiate head coach, Quesenberry has a 67-102 (.396) record in her fifth season. She is the third head coach in Lourdes program's history.
Series Notes: Aquinas is 13-0 all-time against Lourdes in a series that dates back to Nov. 30, 2011. The Saints won the first meeting of the year between the two schools, 93-47, on Nov. 15 in the WHAC opener for each team. Aquinas holds a 6-0 series edge in games played in Grand Rapids, Mich. Lourdes holds a 2-1 series advantage against Wilberforce dating back to Feb. 6, 2012. The Gray Wolves won the last meeting between the two schools, 84-74, on Nov. 1, 2014 in Wilberforce, Ohio. The series is even 1-1 all-time in Wilberforce.
Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes led by four heading into the final quarter on Wednesday evening before suffering a 73-68 setback at Siena Heights.Â

Sydney Miller led the Gray Wolves with 14 points each while
Tatyana Reynolds added 13 points. On Saturday, the Gray Wolves and Michigan-Dearborn were tied heading into the final 10 minutes before the Wolverines pulled out a 65-57 victory. Reynolds paced Lourdes with 17 points. Â
Scouting Aquinas: The Saints have dropped two of their last three games after suffering a 64-59 loss on the road at Rochester (Mich.) on Saturday. Michaela Faber leads Aquinas in scoring and rebounding, averaging 13.1 points and 8.0 boards per contest. As a team, Aquinas is shooting 40.3% from the floor and scoring 66.1 points per game while defensively allowing 58.5 points per night.
Scouting Wilberforce: The Bulldogs have dropped two straight games following a 75-58 loss to Rio Grande on Jan. 9. Wilberforce hosts Central State on Thursday before entertaining the Gray Wolves. Brittany Wells leads Wilberforce in scoring averaging 20.0 points per game while Jamee Denman adds 14.6 points per night. Alexandra Shealey has contributed 13.3 points per game while Tivia Hylton is pulling down a team-leading 8.3 rebounds per contest. As a team Wilberforce is shooting 39.7% from the floor and averaging 66.4 points per game while opponents are scoring 68.9 points per night against the Bulldogs.
Reynolds Continues to Score: Tatyana Reynolds has tallied double figures in her last five games for the Gray Wolves after posting 13 and 17 points last week against Siena Heights and Michigan-Dearborn respectively. The efforts came in her first games back after missing a pair of contests due to injury. In her previous game prior to missing time, Reynolds scored a career-high 26 points against Wright State-Lake.
Miller Paces Lourdes Scoring: Sydney Miller has led Lourdes in scoring throughout the season, and enters play this week averaging 14.6 points per game. She had her double figure scoring streak snapped at 10 straight games on Saturday, tallying nine points against Michigan-Dearborn. The junior has failed to find double figures in the scoring column just four times on the year.
From Long Range: Lourdes has made at least eight three-point field goals in 12 of its last 14 games. The Gray Wolves have made 164 triples on the year, more than double of the 81 three-pointers Lourdes opponents have connected on. In 10 of the 20 games on the season, Lourdes has tallied double figure triples on the night.
Taking Care of the Basketball: Christiana Jefferson has handed out 62 assists this season, an average of 4.1 per contest. She has committed just 25 turnovers on the year as well, giving her a 2.48 assist-to-turnover ratio.
A Successful Non-Conference Slate: Lourdes enters the Wilberforce game on Saturday 5-2 in non-conference action this season. The Gray Wolves close out the non-league portion of their schedule against the Bulldogs.
Among the Nation's Best: Sydney Miller is tallying 3.39 three-pointers per contest, a mark that ranks eighth nationally.
Christiana Jefferson ranks 13th among all NAIA Division II players with a 2.48 assist-to-turnover ratio and her 4.13 helpers per night are 31st best in the country.Â

Sara Semler is 43.8% shooting from beyond the arc ranks her 26th in the nation. Â
Lourdes in National Rankings: As a team Lourdes ranks 10th nationally grabbing 16.00 offensive rebounds per game while the team's 9.11 three-pointers per contest are 16th best in the country. Defensively, the Gray Wolves are limiting the opposition to just 29.6% shooting from three-point range, 41st best in the nation.
