Head Coach Summer Quesenberry: In her second season on the Lourdes bench Summer Quesenberry has a 15-39 (.278) record with the Gray Wolves.  Overall as a women's collegiate head coach, Quesenberry has a 68-107 (.389) record in her fifth season.  She is the third head coach in Lourdes program's history.

Series Notes: Madonna is 12-1 all-time against Lourdes dating back to Jan. 11, 2012.  The Crusaders have won the last two meetings between the two schools, including a 68-61 victory in Livonia, Mich. earlier this season on Nov. 29.  Lourdes won the only previous game inside the Ebeid Rec Center, 80-73, on Nov. 30, 2016.  Lawrence Tech holds an 8-3 series edge over the Gray Wolves dating back to Nov. 17, 2012.  The Blue Devils have won five straight contests between the two teams after scoring a 79-64 victory at the Ebeid Rec Center on Jan. 6.  All-time, Lawrence Tech holds a 4-1 series advantage in games played in Southfield, Mich.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes held a six-point lead at halftime on Wednesday evening in Ann Arbor, Mich., but Concordia (Mich.) outscored the Gray Wolves 23-9 in the third period on the way to a 73-63 victory.  Tatyana Reynolds led Lourdes with 21 points while LaTyrah Beasley added 16 points and 11 rebounds.  Saturday Lourdes hung with Siena Heights at home, coming up on the short end of an 84-79 decision.  Reynolds tallied 23 points while Christiana Jefferson added 11 points and six assists.

Scouting Madonna: The Crusaders have dropped six of their last seven games overall after falling on the road 59-51 at Concordia (Mich.) on Saturday afternoon.  Becca Sabol leads Madonna in scoring and rebounding, averaging 18.4 points and 9.8 boards per contest.  Lindsey Hernden adds 12.3 points per contest.  As a team the Crusaders are shooting 40.1% from the floor and averaging 65.6 points per contest while allowing 68.6 points per game.

Scouting Lawrence Tech: The Blue Devils enter the week having won eight straight games after winning at Aquinas 64-52 last Wednesday.  Lawrence Tech hosts Concordia (Mich.) before entertaining the Gray Wolves.  Nicole Buckingham leads the Blue Devils averaging 16.9 points per game while Hayley Walkowski adds 14.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per night.  Lawrence Tech is shooting 40.2% from the field and scoring 72.9 points per game while allowing 56.4 points per night.

Crunch Time: With four games remaining in the regular season, Lourdes is mathematically still alive for a berth in the WHAC tournament which begins on Feb. 22.  The Gray Wolves have to win all four remaining games though, and have Madonna drop all four remaining contests.  The Gray Wolves would then need to win the tie-breaker with Madonna, based upon final regular season standings.

Taking Care of the Basketball:  Lourdes did a solid job of protecting the basketball last week, as the Gray Wolves committed just 22 turnovers total in the two contests.  At Concordia (Mich.) last Wednesday, Lourdes turned the ball over a season-low 10 times before registering just 12 miscues on Saturday against Siena Heights, its fourth lowest total of the year.

Reynolds Posts Three Straight 20-Point Scoring Games: Tatyana Reynolds has taken over the team's scoring lead this season after three consecutive 20-point scoring nights.  The senior tallied 25 versus Indiana Tech on Jan. 27 to begin her streak before adding 21 points at Concordia (Mich.) last Wednesday.  On Saturday against Siena Heights, Reynolds scored 23 points.  She has increased her season scoring average by 1.6 points over the three-game span, and now leads Lourdes tallying 14.0 points per night.

Beasley Continues with Double-Doubles: LaTyrah Beasley recorded her fourth double-double of the season last Wednesday night at Concordia (Mich.).  The sophomore scored 16 points and pulled down 11 rebounds in the loss.  Her four double-double account for half of the Gray Wolves' eight total double-doubles on the year.

In the National Rankings: Christiana Jefferson ranks fourth among all NAIA Division II players with a 3.14 assist-to-turnover ratio this season.  Her 4.2 assists per night rank 26th nationally.  Sydney Miller is 14th in the country making 3.04 three-poiners per game while Tatyana Reynolds is 20th in the same category, draining 2.95 triples per night.  Sara Semler is 29th in the nation shooting 42.4% from three-point range.

Lourdes Among National Leaders: As a team Lourdes ranks seventh nationally grabbing 15.9 offensive rebounds per game while the team's 8.8 three-pointers per contest are 16th best in the country.

This and That: The loss to Siena Heights was the first time the Gray Wolves dropped a game this season when scoring 70 or more points ... Kali Hardy had a career-high six points after making two three-pointers against Siena Heights.
