Upcoming in Gray Wolves Lacrosse: The Gray Wolves return home following a four-game road trip over spring break. The Gray Wolves open Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play on Saturday when they host Rochester (Mich.) at Wildcat Stadium. The Gray Wolves will hit the road on Wednesday when they meet Lawrence Tech.
Head Coach Alyssa Shaver: In her second season on the Lourdes bench,
Alyssa Shaver has an 11-13 (.458) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves and as well as a collegiate head coach. Â She is just the second head coach in Lourdes program's history.
Series Notes: Lourdes will meet Rochester for the first time in program history. Rochester is in its inaugural season as a program. Lourdes is still searching for its first win in the series against Lawrence Tech. The Blue Devils own a 9-0 advantage in the all-time series between the two schools.
Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes posted a 1-3 record during its four-game road trip over spring break. The Gray Wolves picked up a 20-12 victory over Columbia (S.C.) during the trip. In that contest, four Gray Wolves recorded hat tricks as

Anna Zofchak each netted four goals and
Hannah Merrick scored three times.
Scouting Rochester: The Warriors have played just one game during their inaugural 2019 campaign. Rochester fell 22-1 to Cleary to begin WHAC play on Wednesday. Kendra Kujat scored the lone goal for the Warriors. Kujat also had a team-best four ground balls and three caused turnovers in the contest. Lexey Tobel claimed three draw controls to lead Rochester. Rebekah Sewell went the distance in the net for the Warriors, posting a save in 60 minutes.
Scouting Lawrence Tech: Lawrence Tech enters the contest after falling to Walsh on the road. The Blue Devils have won just one of their first seven games, its worst start through seven games in program history. Anna Gagnon leads the offense thus far this season with 22 goals, while Ashley Sherry and Teagan Laier have tallied 13 and 10 goals, respectively. Gabi Larkin currently leads the team with 10 assists and 24 ground balls. Defensively, Kady Waits leads the team with 16 caused turnovers. Dorie Coggin has played all seven games in the net for the Blue Devils, recording 61 saves and posting a 13.00 goals against average.
A Tough Test: Lourdes returns home after facing a tough test during its spring trip. In the span of three games, the Gray Wolves faced No. 3-ranked Cumberlands (Ky.) and No. 1-ranked SCAD-Savannah. Lourdes posted an impressive 20-12 victory over Columbia (S.C.) between the two nationally-ranked opponents.Â
Looking For a Home Victory: Lourdes has played three of its first seven games at the friendly confines this season and is still searching for its first victory at Wildcat Stadium. The Gray Wolves won their first two home contests of the season in 2018.
100 Career Goals: During their spring break trip,
Tiara Reed became just the second player in program history to reach the 100-goal plateau. Reed currently has 105 career goals and ranks second all-time at Lourdes in goals scored.
Running the Offense: As well as leading the team and ranking third in the WHAC this season with 25 goals, Reed also leads the team and is tied for fourth in the conference with seven assists. The junior currently leads the team and ranks third in the conference with 32 total points.
It's Been A While: After playing three of their first five games at Wildcat Stadium, Lourdes will be the hosts for the first time in nearly a month when they meet Rochester on Saturday afternoon. The Gray Wolves have not played a home match since a 15-11 setback against Adrian on February 27.
