Head Coach Alyssa Shaver: In her second season on the Lourdes bench, Alyssa Shaver has a 16-15 (.516) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves and as well as a collegiate head coach.  She is just the second head coach in Lourdes program's history.

Series Notes: Lourdes is 1-8 all-time against Siena Heights in a series that began on March 18, 2014. Lourdes has dropped the last three games in the series and picked up their lone victory in the series 12-7 in Adrian on April 16, 2016. Lourdes is 0-10 all-time against Indiana Tech in a series that began on March. 5, 2014. The two teams will play their third consecutive game at Wildcat Stadium when they meet on Saturday.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes posted a 2-1 record a week ago, defeating Bethel and Cleary shortly after dropping a contest to Concordia. In their two victories, the Gray Wolves outscored their opponents by a 29-17 margin. Hannah Merrick scored at least three goals in each of the three games last week for the Gray Wolves.

Scouting Siena Heights: The Saints had their three-game winning streak snapped on Saturday as they fell to Cleary. Siena Heights had won five of their last six prior to the setback. Jenna Sommerville currently paces the offense with 46 goals, a mark that ranks third in the WHAC. Alexis Nicole currently leads the conference with 73 draw controls and leads the team with 48 ground balls. Katherine Tapia leads the team with 12 assists. Defensively, the Saints have seen a trio of athletes in the net. Mariah Smith leads the group with 75 saves and has played the majority of minutes in the cage.

Scouting Indiana Tech: The Warriors enter the matchup riding a nine-game winning streak and own an unblemished record in the WHAC at 7-0. Thanks Seniors: The Gray Wolves will honor their three seniors prior to Saturday morning's game against Indiana Tech. Brandy Lowery, Brianna Budd and Anna Zofchak will all be playing their final regular season home game at Wildcat Stadium on Saturday.

Positioning For The WHAC Tournament: With a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament ticket punched for the first time since the 2016 season, Lourdes is looking to put itself in position for home field advantage during the quarterfinal round of the tournament. The Gray Wolves are currently tied for third in the WHAC standings, and would need to win their final two games to guarantee a home contest in the quarterfinals.

Stopping Shots: Jacque Pappadakes has been a force for the Gray Wolves in the cage this season. The freshman keeper currently leads the WHAC with 124 saves. Her 124 saves this season is the fourth best single season mark in program history and the most by a freshman in program history.

Success Down The Stretch: Lourdes has found success as of late, posting victories in four of their last five games, including two straight entering the week.

An Offensive Outburst: Hannah Merrick has taken her offensive game to another level, scoring three or more goals in five straight games, and six of her last seven games.

This and That:  Lourdes punched its ticket to the WHAC Tournament for the first time since 2016 ... the Gray Wolves are 3-0 on the road in the last three road contests ... Lourdes is 0-2 all-time in the WHAC Tournament.
