Upcoming in Gray Wolves Basketball: Having won back-to-back games, Lourdes is set for three games in four days this week.  The Gray Wolves host Aquinas on Wednesday evening before stepping out of Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play on Thursday to travel to Great Lakes Christian.  Lourdes closes the week on Saturday at 14th-ranked Siena Heights.

On the Air: Wednesday's game against Aquinas will be broadcast live on BCSN as part of Buckeye Broadband.  The game will also re-air on Thursday at noon and Saturday at 12:30 p.m. In addition, BCSN2 will show the game Thursday at 5 a.m. and Friday at 5 p.m.

Head Coach John Kenger: In his second season on the Lourdes bench, John Kenger sports an 17-33 (.340) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves.  In his fifth season overall as a women's collegiate head coach, Kenger has a 56-87 (.392) career mark.  He is the fourth head coach in Lourdes program's history.

Series Notes: Aquinas is 17-0 all-time against Lourdes in a series that dates back to Nov. 30, 2011. The Saints won the first meeting this season 43-40 in Grand Rapids, Mich. on Nov. 23.  Aquinas holds a 3-0 edge inside the Ebeid Rec Center and is 8-0 all-time at Lourdes.  Lourdes is 3-0 all-time against Great Lakes Christian dating back to Oct. 30, 2017.  The Gray Wolves won last season's meeting 84-39 in Lansing, Mich., the only previous visit Lourdes has made to Great Lakes Christian.  Siena Heights holds a 17-0 all-time advantage against the Gray Wolves dating back to Dec. 3, 2011.  The Saints were 63-49 victors over Lourdes earlier this season on Dec. 14 inside the Ebeid Rec Center.  Siena Heights is 8-0 against the Gray Wolves in Adrian, Mich.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes rallied from nine points down in the second half to defeat Madonna 46-42 on Wednesday evening for the Gray Wolves' first road victory of the year.  Sara Semler led Lourdes with 10 points while Baylee Baldwin added nine.  The Gray Wolves followed with a convincing 81-27 victory at Akron Wayne on Saturday.  Baldwin tallied 16 points and Erica Cary scored 12 points while Mirandia Green added 11 more.  Mary Liedel also finished in double figures with 10 points for the Gray Wolves.

Scouting Aquinas: The Saints have won five straight games following a 73-66 victory at Lawrence Tech on Saturday afternoon.  Daz'Sha Day leads Aquinas averaging 11.0 points per game.  Marissa Brady ads 9.5 points per outing while Camaryia Williams leads the Saints on the glass pulling down 10.8 rebounds per night.

Scouting Great Lakes Christian: The Crusaders are still looking for their first win of the season after falling 74-69 at Welch on Saturday.  Mystic Striker leads Great Lakes Christian averaging 16.4 points per game while Tilly Guild adds 15.8 points and a team-high 10.0 rebounds per night.  Kerlanda Dervil and Randi Fitzgerald are both averaging in double figures as well, tallying 12.4 and 12.2 points per game respectively.

Scouting Siena Heights: The Saints had their 14-game winning streak snapped on Saturday, falling 84-70 at 13th-ranked Indiana Tech.  Siena Heights hosts Madonna on Wednesday before Lourdes visits on Saturday.  Peyton Banks leads Siena Heights averaging 16.9 points and 8.3 rebounds per game while Demi Russell adds 14.4 points per contest.  Kelsey Wyman is tallying 12.4 points per outing for the Saints.

Limiting the Scoring: Lourdes yielded just 27 points to Akron Wayne on Saturday, the second fewest allowed in a game in program history.  The Gray Wolves held Akron Wayne to just 20 points on Nov. 7, 2015 in a 68-20 victory as part of the record-setting performance.

Breaking Through on the Road: Lourdes snapped a 13-game road losing skid last Wednesday with the victory at Madonna.  The Gray Wolves followed that up with another road triumph at Akron Wayne on Saturday, the first back-to-back road wins for Lourdes since Jan. 7 and 9, 2018 at Great Lakes Christian and Concordia (Mich.).

Baldwin Matches Career High: Baylee Baldwin equalled her career high with 16 points at Akron Wayne.  The freshman had previously tallied 16 points against Cornerstone on Nov. 26 and now has five double figure scoring efforts to her credit.  She enters the week averaging 7.2 points per game.

Battling for a Tournament Berth: As Lourdes heads into the final seven games of the WHAC schedule, the Gray Wolves are batting for their first WHAC tournament berth in program history.  Currently Lourdes is tied with Northwestern Ohio for the final postseason spot.  Lourdes downed Northwestern Ohio in their first head-to-head meeting of the year.

This and That: Mirandia Green and Sara Semler are the only two Gray Wolves to have started all 21 games this season ... Baylee Baldwin is the only other Lourdes player to appear in all 21 contests ... the 81 points scored at Akron Wayne mark a season high ... Lourdes is playing its fifth NAIA Top-25 foe of the year on Saturday at Siena Heights.
