Upcoming in Gray Wolves Basketball: Lourdes seeks its first Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference and road victories of the season this week as the Gray Wolves conclude their three-game road trip.  The Gray Wolves head to nationally-ranked Indiana Tech on Wednesday evening before battling Madonna on Saturday afternoon.

Head Coach Tandy Bradford: In her first season on the Lourdes bench, Tandy Bradford sports an 3-3 (.500) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves.  In her fourth season overall as a collegiate head coach, Bradford has a 24-62 (.279) career mark.  She is the fifth head coach in Lourdes program's history.

Series Notes: Indiana Tech is 20-1 all-time against Lourdes in a series that dates back to Jan. 7, 2012.  The Warriors have won the last 17 meetings between the two schools after sweeping last season's contests.  Indiana Tech posted a 78-66 win in the Ebeid Rec Center and a 63-41 victory in Fort Wayne, Ind.  The Warriors are 10-1 against the Gray Wolves all-time in Fort Wayne.  Madonna holds a 12-7 series edge against Lourdes dating back to Jan. 11, 2012.  The Gray Wolves have won the last six meetings between the two schools though.   Last season, Lourdes notched a 68-50 win in Livonia, Mich. in the lone meeting.  The Crusaders hold a 7-3 all-time series edge in Livonia.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes trailed by just five at halftime, but a 16-0 Aquinas run to open the second half pushed the Saints past the Gray Wolves on Wednesday afternoon in Grand Rapids, Mich.  Lourdes shot just 21% from the floor, including 11.8% from three-point range.  Gabby Stover led the Gray Wolves with 12 points while Mercedes Wagner pulled down 14 rebounds.

Scouting Indiana Tech: The Warriors remained undefeated with a 70-53 victory at Concordia (Mich.) on Saturday afternoon.  Emma Tuominen leads Indiana Tech offensively, averaging 13.7 points per game while Erika Foy has added 12.3 points and a team-leading 7.7 rebounds per contest.  Kyra Whitaker has chipped in 12.0 points per outing for the Warriors.  Defensively, Indiana Tech is limiting the opposition to just 50.9 points per game and 33.4% shooting from the floor.

Scouting Madonna: The Crusaders remained winless on the season after dropping a 64-60 decision to Siena Heights at home last Wednesday.  Madonna hosts Aquinas on Wednesday before entertaining Lourdes.  Megan Aho leads Madonna, averaging 15.9 points and 8.4 rebounds per game while Sharon Woodard adds 13.6 points per night.  April Hudelson adds 11.4 points per outing for the Crusaders.

Stover Tallies Double Figures Again: For the fourth time in the first six games of the season, Gabby Stover turned in a double figure scoring effort at Aquinas.  The sophomore tallied a team-leading 12 points in the loss to the Saints.  Stover had six double figure scoring games the entire 2020-2021 season.  She scored a season's best 20 points earlier this season at Indiana-South Bend.

Crashing the Boards: Mercedes Wagner has registered three consecutive double figure rebounding games for the Gray Wolves after pulling down a season-high 14 boards at Aquinas.  Wagner is averaging a team-leading 8.7 rebounds per contest this season.

Facing Ranked Opponents: Indiana Tech will be the 52nd NAIA top-25 opponent the Gray Wolves have faced in the program's history.  Lourdes is looking for its second win all-time against a ranked foe, having downed 18th-ranked Indiana-Northwest 79-75 on Nov. 5, 2011 on the road.

From Downtown: Shae Pedroza Logan Ingram, and Addie Conroy have led the way for the Gray Wolves from beyond the arc this season.  Pedroza has a team-high 14 triples and is shooting 42.4% from long range while Ingram has made eight threes at a 40.0% clip.  Conroy has attempted just nine shots from long range, but has made six, shooting 66.7% on the season.

Record-Setting Effort: Lourdes shattered its school record by scoring 132 points in the victory over Miami-Middletown on Saturday.  The previous mark was 107 points scored at Northwestern Ohio on Feb. 14, 2018.  The 58-point margin of victory, 132-74, also broke the previous mark of 54 set on Nov. 6, 2018 against Wright State-Lake, 101-47, and matched last season at Akron Wayne in an 81-27 victory.

Lourdes Tabbed 10th in WHAC Preseason Poll: The Gray Wolves were selected to finish in 10th place in the WHAC this season in the preseason poll conducted of the league's head coaches.  Lourdes was picked just behind Northwestern Ohio and just ahead of Madonna in the balloting.  Indiana Tech was picked as the preseason favorite.
