Upcoming in Gray Wolves Basketball: After snapping a six-game losing skid on Monday evening, Lourdes returns to the hardwood for two more games prior to Christmas break.  The Gray Wolves head to Taylor on Thursday evening before playing their final home game in 2021 on Tuesday night when Miami-Hamilton visits the Ebeid Rec Center.

Head Coach Tandy Bradford: In her first season on the Lourdes bench, Tandy Bradford sports an 4-8 (.333) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves.  In her fourth season overall as a collegiate head coach, Bradford has a 25-67 (.272) career mark.  She is the fifth head coach in Lourdes program's history.

Series Notes: Taylor has won both previous meetings against the Gray Wolves.  The Trojans won the initial contest between the two schools 86-40 on Nov. 12, 2019 in Upland, Ind.  The two teams met last season on Jan. 13, 2021 inside the Ebeid Rec Center with Taylor edging Lourdes 66-63.  Lourdes and Miami-Hamilton will be meeting on the basketball court for the first time ever in Tuesday evening's contest.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes held a four-point halftime lead on Saturday (Dec. 11) but Cornerstone tallied 31 third quarter points on the way to a 72-64 victory inside the Ebeid Rec Center.  Mercedes Wagner paced the Gray Wolves with 16 points while Logan Ingram added 15 more.  Shallyn Miley pulled down a game-high 13 rebounds.  On Monday (Dec. 13), Lourdes limited Olivet to just 29.1% shooting from the floor and defeated the Comets 76-40 at home.  Ingram tallied 17 points while Shae Pedroza scored 14 more.  Milley grabbed a team-high 14 rebounds in the victory.

Scouting Taylor: The Trojans have dropped four of their last five games overall after suffering a 65-50 setback on the road at Aquinas on Saturday (Dec. 11).  Taylor Westgate paces Taylor, averaging a double-double.   She is scoring 14.3 points and grabbing 11.5 rebounds per game.  Lauren James adds 13.1 points per outing while Kayla Kirtley chips in 12.7 points per night.  Claycee West gives the Trojans four players scoring in double figures with her 10.6 points per game.

Scouting Miami-Hamilton: The Harriers enter the week following a 70-69 victory on Sunday (Dec. 12) at home against Villa Maria.  Miami-Hamilton travels to Indiana Wesleyan on Monday night before visiting Lourdes.  Leah Abribat leads Miami-Hamilton in scoring, averaging 13.9 points per game this season.  Laci Reinhart adds 12.9 points per outing while Kaitlyn Simpkins chips in 9.9 points per game.

A Force on the Glass: Shallyn Miley has taken over the team lead averaging 7.4 rebounds per game.  Miley has set career highs in back-to-back games with her first two double figure rebounding games of her career.  The freshman pulled down a team-high 13 rebounds, including six on the offensive end, against Cornerstone before bettering that total with 14 boards, including seven offensive, versus Olivet.  Of her 89 total rebounds, 42 have been on the offensive end of the floor.

Ingram Heating Up: Logan Ingram has caught fire offensively, registering back-to-back career highs for the Gray Wolves.  The sophomore scored 15 points against Cornerstone before connecting on five three-point field goals on her way to a career-best 17 points on Monday night against Olivet.  After missing a pair of games, Ingram has now tallied three consecutive double figure scoring games and has five total this year on her way to averaging 10.0 points per night.

Shooting From Deep: As a team Lourdes is shooting just 30.8% from three-point range this season but a pair of Gray Wolves have been on fire from long range.  Shae Pedroza leads Lourdes with 22 triples and is connecting at a 43.1% clip this year while Addie Conroy is third on the team with 13 threes and is making shots at a 43.3% rate.

A Difference in Starting and Finishing Halves: Through 12 games Lourdes has been outscored by its opposition by just seven points total this year.  However, the Gray Wolves have been outscored by 56 points combined in the first and third quarters.  Lourdes has regrouped and rallied then to outscore its opponents by 49 points in the second and fourth stanzas.

Record-Setting Effort: Lourdes shattered its school record by scoring 132 points in the victory over Miami-Middletown on Nov. 6.  The previous mark was 107 points scored at Northwestern Ohio on Feb. 14, 2018.  The 58-point margin of victory, 132-74, also broke the previous mark of 54 set on Nov. 6, 2018 against Wright State-Lake, 101-47, and matched last season at Akron Wayne in an 81-27 victory.

Lourdes Tabbed 10th in WHAC Preseason Poll: The Gray Wolves were selected to finish in 10th place in the WHAC this season in the preseason poll conducted of the league's head coaches.  Lourdes was picked just behind Northwestern Ohio and just ahead of Madonna in the balloting.  Indiana Tech was picked as the preseason favorite.
