Upcoming in Gray Wolves Basketball: Having won back-to-back games to open 2022, Lourdes returns home for eight of its next nine games, including the next five straight contests.  The Gray Wolves host Concordia (Mich.) on Wednesday evening before entertaining Rochester (Mich.) on Saturday.  Lourdes will then make up a game on Monday night versus Siena Heights.

Head Coach Tandy Bradford: In her first season on the Lourdes bench, Tandy Bradford sports an 7-10 (.412) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves.  In her fourth season overall as a collegiate head coach, Bradford has a 28-69 (.289) career mark.  She is the fifth head coach in Lourdes program's history.

Series Notes: Concordia (Mich.) holds a 19-2 series advantage against Lourdes dating back to Oct. 27, 2011.  The Cardinals have won the last six meetings between the two schools, including all three games last year, including a 91-84 win in overtime in the WHAC semifinals.  Concordia is 5-0 against the Gray Wolves in the Ebeid Rec Center Rochester (Mich.) is 10-2 all-time against Lourdes in a series that began Jan. 23, 2012.  The Warriors won the first meeting this year 86-68 on Dec. 30 in Rochester Hills, Mich.  Rochester is 4-0 against Lourdes in the Ebeid Rec Center.  Siena Heights has won all 20 games against Lourdes in a series that began Dec. 3, 2011.  Last season the Saints won both meetings, 90-65 and 64-48.  Siena Heights holds a 5-0 series edge in the Ebeid Rec Center.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Alex Wolfe's basket with one second left lifted Lourdes to a 64-63 victory over Michigan-Dearborn on Saturday (Jan. 8) afternoon.  Logan Ingram led the Gray Wolves with 17 points while Shae Pedroza added 12 more as Lourdes won its first WHAC game of the season.

Scouting Concordia (Mich.): The Cardinals snapped a two-game losing skid on Saturday (Jan. 8) with an 86-79 victory over Rochester (Mich.).  Alize Tripp leads Concordia averaging 15.5 points per game while Samantha Dorns adds 9.1 points per night.  Taylor Leatherman is the team's leading rebounder, grabbing 5.7 boards per contest.

Scouting Rochester (Mich.): The Warriors are coming off an 86-79 loss at Concordia (Mich.) on Saturday (Jan. 8).  Jacara Thompson is averaging a team-leading 13.2 points per game while Elysia Mattos adds 13.1 points per night.  Lauren Wynn chips in 11.5 points and a team-high 5.8 rebounds per contest.

Scouting Siena Heights: The Saints have not played since a 75-66 loss at West Virginia Tech on Jan. 2.  Siena Heights hosts Indiana Tech on Wednesday and travels to Lawrence Tech on Saturday prior to facing the Gray Wolves.  Peyton Banks leads Siena Heights in scoring and rebounding, averaging 21.9 points and 10.4 rebounds per contest.  Sha'kyia Parker has added 15.0 points per game this year for the Saints.

A Game-Winner: Alex Wolfe finished with just six points on Saturday against Michigan-Dearborn, but none were bigger than her basket inside with one-second remaining which proved to be the game-winner as the Gray Wolves overcame a 10-point second half deficit.  Prior to that basket, Wolfe had made just one field goal since the Christmas break.

Ingram Matched Career Highs: Logan Ingram scored a game-high 17 points in the win over Michigan-Dearborn, matching her career-high set earlier this season against Olivet.  The junior guard also matched her career-best with five three-point field goals in the win.  Ingram pulled down eight rebounds in the win, the most of her collegiate career.

Welcome Back Nadeen: Nadeen Jemaa made her season debut on Saturday against Michigan-Dearborn.  She scored six points and grabbed a rebound in 16 minutes of action.  Jemaa's appearance was her first since Nov. 3, 2020 at Ohio Christian after battling injuries for the first two-and-a-half seasons of her career.

Wagner Leading the Gray Wolves: Mercedes Wagner leads Lourdes in numerous statistical categories this season.  In addition to leading the Gray Wolves in scoring (12.2 ppg) and rebounding (7.4 rpg), Wagner is also shooting a team-leading 44.3% from the floor.  On the defensive end, the sophomore has a team-high 35 steals and 15 blocked shots.

A Historic Victory: Lourdes snapped a 50-game losing skid against NAIA top-25 opponents on New Year's Day with its victory at 24th-ranked Mount Vernon Nazarene.  The win was just the second all-time against ranked foes, improving to 2-51 all-time.  Lourdes only other victory against a ranked team came on Nov. 5, 2011 at 18th-ranked Indiana-Northwest.

Record-Setting Effort: Lourdes shattered its school record by scoring 132 points in the victory over Miami-Middletown on Nov. 6.  The previous mark was 107 points scored at Northwestern Ohio on Feb. 14, 2018.  The 58-point margin of victory, 132-74, also broke the previous mark of 54 set on Nov. 6, 2018 against Wright State-Lake, 101-47, and matched last season at Akron Wayne in an 81-27 victory.

This and That: Not one Gray Wolf has started all 17 games, with 15 being the most starts by any player ... Mercedes Wagner and Winter Richburg are the only Gray Wolves to appear in all 17 games ... the win over Michigan-Dearborn was the Gray Wolves' first this season when trailing at the half ... the five-game homestand matches the longest in program history (Jan. 23-Feb. 6, 2012).
