Day 1 Results

Lourdes sits in third place at the midway point of the Beaver Fall Classic at Bluffton Golf Club in Bluffton, Ohio following Saturday's first round.
 
The Gray Wolves fired a first round 317 and trail second place Ohio Northern by seven strokes heading into Sunday's final round.  The College of Wooster leads the tournament after shooting an opening round 305.
 
Alban Bruyas (Grenoble, France/Lycee Philippine Duchesne) and Hunter DeWeese (Wilmington, Ohio/Wilmington H.S.) led the way for Lourdes on Saturday with rounds of 77 each.
 
Isaac Simmons (Genoa, Ohio/Genoa H.S.) added an 81 while Jack Murphy (Wilmington H.S.) shot 82 to complete the scoring for the Gray Wolves.  Jovon Vann (Delta, Ohio/Delta H.S.) rounded out the lineup with a round of 85 on the 6,641-yard, par-72 layout.
 
Krishang Nayak of the College of Wooster leads the tournament after firing a two-under par round of 70 and has a five shot lead over Ohio Northern's David Walsh.
 
Sunday's final round is slated to begin at 9:30 a.m.
