Upcoming in Gray Wolves Basketball: The final home game of the 2022 calendar year is set for Wednesday afternoon for Lourdes. The Gray Wolves entertain Penn State-Shenango in non-conference action for Senior Day in the Ebeid Rec Center.
Head Coach Tandy Bradford: In her second season on the Lourdes bench,
Tandy Bradford sports a 15-29 (.341) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves. In her fifth season overall as a collegiate head coach, Bradford has a 36-88 (.290) career mark. She is the fifth head coach in Lourdes program's history.
Series Notes: Lourdes and Penn State-Shenango are meeting on the hardwood for the first time in women's basketball. The two schools' men's programs faced one another last season.
Wrapping Up Last Week: On Monday, Kentucky Christian rallied from nine points down in the fourth quarter to defeat Lourdes 69-61 in Grayson, Ky.
Shae Pedroza had a team-high 14 points while
Macie Stringfellow added 11 points.
Grace Ryan came off the bench to chip in 10 more for the Gray Wolves. Thursday evening the Gray Wolves dropped a 75-66 decision at Ohio Christian. Stringfellow tallied a team-high 16 points while
Emma Pedroza added 15 more. The road trip concluded on Saturday with an 84-62 setback at Indiana-Southeast.

Emma Pedroza and Stringfellow tallied 12 points each.
Scouting Penn State-Shenango: The Lady Lions enter the week having won back-to-back games after defeating Penn State-Scranton 106-28 on Dec. 10. Penn State-Shenango hosts Carlow on Monday evening before visiting Lourdes. Toni Donaldson leads the Lady Lions averaging 13.1 points per game while Hailee Aguinaga adds 12.7 points and 14.4 rebounds per game. Aneziah Fryer is also scoring in double figures for Penn State-Shenango, tallying 11.4 points per night. This is Penn State-Shenango's second season as an intercollegiate basketball program.
Facing the Penn State University Athletic Conference: Lourdes has faced one other school in the PSUAC previously. The Gray Wolves defeated Penn State-Greater Allegheny 70-45 on Nov. 19, 2011 during the program's inaugural season.
Thanks Seniors: Lourdes will honor its three seniors prior to Wednesday's game against Penn State-Shenango.
Addie Conroy,
Logan Ingram, and Nadeem Jemaa will all be recognized for their contributions to the program. Conroy has made 66 appearances for the Gray Wolves while Ingram has stepped onto the court 81 times entering the week. Jemaa has played in 31 games after battling through injuries early in her career.
Stringfellow Has Big Week: Macie Stringfellow scored in double figures in all three games last week for the Gray Wolves, averaging 13.0 points per game during the stretch. The redshirt-freshman tallied a career-high 16 points on Thursday at Ohio Christian to lead Lourdes. On the season, Stringfellow is averaging 8.5 points per game and has tallied double figures on seven different occasions.
From Long Range: Lourdes shot a season's best 42.9% from three-point range on Saturday at Indiana-Southeast, making 6-of-14 attempts. The Gray Wolves' previous season's best was .38.9% (7-of-18) in the season-opening win over Mount Vernon Nazarene. On the year, Lourdes is shooting just 27.5% from beyond the arc.
Adjustments Out of the Locker Room: Lourdes has been outscored by 61 points this season (1,004-943), but the Gray Wolves have been solid at making halftime adjustments. Lourdes is outscoring the opposition by 43 points (269-226) in the third period.
Sisters Leading the Scoring Race: Shae Pedroza has taken over the team's scoring lead this season averaging 11.1 points per game. Her sister, freshman
Emma Pedroza is second for Lourdes in scoring this season, averaging 10.1 points per game. They are the only two Gray Wolves averaging in double figures.
Making Shots: Shae Pedroza is connecting at a 92.7% clip from the free throw line on the season, the second best mark in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference. She has missed just three attempts all year (38-of-41).
Halle Barnett is shooting 54.5% from the floor for the Gray Wolves this season. Her field goal percentage mark ranks fifth in the conference this season.
Block Party: Halle Barnett ranks fifth in the WHAC this season with 12 total blocked shots in 14 games. She junior has recorded multiple blocks in a game on three different occasions already this year.
Mixing Up the Lineup: Lourdes has had 11 different players draw at least one starting assignment this season.

Lourdes Tabbed Seventh in WHAC Preseason Poll: The Gray Wolves were selected to finish in seventh place in the WHAC this season in the preseason poll conducted of the league's head coaches. Lourdes was picked just behind Concordia (Mich.) and just ahead of Madonna in the balloting. Indiana Tech was tabbed as the preseason favorite.
