Day 1 Results

After the first 18 holes, Lourdes is in sixth place among 10 schools at the Irish Hills Invitational hosted by Adrian College and held at Tecumseh Golf Club in Tecumseh, Mich.
 
The Gray Wolves fired an opening round 314 and are just one stroke behind fifth place Siena Heights at the midway point of the tournament.  Trine leads the tournament after carding a 296, one shot ahead of Calvin.
 
Alban Bruyas (Grenoble, France/Lycee Philippine Duchesne) led the way for Lourdes in round one, posting a four-over par 76 and is in a tie for 13^th place individually.  Justin Altenbach (Lima, Ohio/Shawnee H.S.) carded a 78 while Jack Murphy (Wilmington, Ohio/Wilmington H.S.) and Hunter DeWeese (Wilmington, Ohio/Wilmington H.S.) each fired an 80 to round out the scoring.  Isaac Simmons (Genoa, Ohio/Genoa H.S.) shot 86 on the 6,619-yard, par-72 layout to round out the lineup.
 
Trine's Mark Civanich is the individual leader after round one after firing a three-under par 69.  He has a three-shot advantage over Indiana Tech's Spencer Keller and Trine's Mitch Lowney.
 
Tee times for Friday's final round will begin at 11 a.m. with the first Gray Wolf heading to the opening tee at 12:03 p.m.
