Final Results

Lourdes shot its second consecutive round of 314 on Friday to finish at 628 and moved up to fifth place at the Irish Hills Invitational held at Tecumseh Golf Club in Tecumseh, Mich.
 
The Gray Wolves finished the tournament 12 strokes behind fourth place Adrian and six shots ahead of sixth place Alma in the field of 10 schools.  Calvin won the tournament at 594 (297-297), eight shots in front of first round leader Trine.
 
For the second straight day Alban Bruyas (Grenoble, France/Lycee Philippine Duchesne) led Lourdes with a round of 76 to post a two-day total of 152 and finish in a tie for eighth place individually.  Justin Altenbach (Lima, Ohio/Shawnee H.S.) had the second-best tournament score at 157 after a final round 79 for the Gray Wolves.
 
Isaac Simmons (Genoa, Ohio/Genoa H.S.) carded the second best second round score for the tam with his 77, finishing the tournament at 163.  Hunter DeWeese (Wilmington, Ohio/Wilmington H.S.) and Jack Murphy (Wilmington, Ohio/Wilmington H.S.) each shot an 82 on Friday to post a tournament score of 162.
 
Lourdes will return to action on Wednesday (Sept. 21) as the Gray Wolves take part in the Aquinas Invitational.  Action is slated to begin at 10 a.m. at Kaufman Golf Course in Grand Rapids, Mich.
